Audiovisual recording of Petr Nuska's lecture at the Institute of Ethnology

Is music theory based on Western classical music the only key to understanding musical harmony? Or are there other ways of its conceptualisation? Listen to the recording of Petr Nuska's lecture, which introduces in detail the content of his upcoming research project on the phenomenon of Romani chords. The lecture introduces the current state of the art, the perspectives with which Roma chords can be approached, and the innovative methods with which the mystery of Romani chords can be unravelled. The almost hour-long lecture is enriched by an interdisciplinary discussion that emerged from the questions of the researchers from our Institute of Ethnology.
